D’Ondre and Monique’s love story began in the summer of 2022, when they met on the dating app BLK. What started as a few casual messages soon became something more memorable when Monique playfully told D’Ondre he wasn’t “applying enough pressure.” Taking her words to heart, he stepped up, asked for her number, and from that moment on, everything began to shift.

 

What followed were long conversations, late-night texts, and countless FaceTime calls that brought them closer day by day. Their connection felt effortless—like something meant to be. On September 30, 2022, just after Monique’s birthday, they went on their first date at Roxy’s Taco Bar in Philadelphia, PA. That night sparked something undeniable, and from then on, their bond only grew stronger.

 

Through shared laughter, meaningful moments, and time spent with family and friends, their love continued to deepen. By Christmas of 2022, they made it official, surrounded by the warmth of the holiday season and the people who mattered most.

 

Life brought new adventures, including Monique’s move to Atlanta, GA in 2023. Not long after, in 2024, D’Ondre followed—choosing love, partnership, and a future together. With every step, their foundation became stronger and their love even more certain.

 

On December 27, 2025, D’Ondre asked Monique to spend forever with him. She said yes to a lifetime of love, laughter, and building their dreams together.

 

Now, with full hearts and a beautiful journey behind them, they look forward to beginning their next chapter as husband and wife on May 15, 2027
